Download Publications and Manage Them — Windows. Thousands of books, pamphlets, tracts, and films are available in the JW Library for offline reading and viewing. To download and handle publications, adhere to the following instructions:
- Download a Document
- Get rid of a Publication

Download a Document:
You get free downloads of as many publications as you wish for offline reading and learning.
Publications:
To see the list of publications, select Publications from the menu at the top of the screen, then select By Type.
Languages:
To view a list of all the languages for which publications are available, open the App Commands bar and press the Languages icon. Decide the language you wish to view. Top of the list is the languages you use the most frequently.

The JW Library offers a few different methods for locating literature,
The By Type section lists books, tracts, and videos available in the language you are now perusing. You may pick from more possibilities when you tap various sorts, such as The Watchtower by year or several categories of Videos.
- Publications published in the language you are perusing are displayed in the What’s New section.
- Cloud Publications are indicated with a cloud icon if you haven’t downloaded them yet. To download a document, tap it. The cloud symbol vanishes when the publication gets downloaded to your device. To read the official paper, tap it once more.
- All publications you have downloaded in any language get shown in the Downloaded section. List sorted by Most Common, Least Common, or Largest Size.
Delete:
To see the list of publications, select Publications from the menu at the top of the screen, then select By Type. Pick a book, touch and hold it. Verify that you want to delete the publication by tapping Delete in the App Commands box. You can eliminate publications that you rarely use or that are large if you need to clear up storage space. Select Publications, then select Downloaded. Delete the books you don’t need anymore.
Receive News Regarding a Publication:
An update for a magazine you have downloaded could occasionally become available.
Refresh:
An indicator that says “refresh” indicates that a publication gets updated. An update is an available notification that appears when you tap it. To continue reading the version you already have, hit Later or Download to obtain the update. Tap Publications to check for updates to any publications you have downloaded. A Pending Updates button is displayed if any updates are available.
